Our Mission
The heart behind Catch Wind Clothing Co is not just make cool clothing to encourage and inspire people but to see skateboarders and people of all kind Catch Wind of what God has for their lives. This idea came to life when Cory Romeiser (founder of CW) saw the need for discipleship and spiritual growth in the skateboarding community and decided to take action and do something about it. As a young skater, Cory always desired to go on skate tours and incorporate Jesus into that. Because Cory decided to catch wind of what God was doing with his desires, he is now leading Catch Wind Skate Tours every summer.
Catch Wind Skate Tours are a place where skaters can grow in their relationship with Christ, create community, and skate skate parks and spots all over the country. Our goal is to disciple and equip the skaters to live out their faith in everyday life. We do this by having devotionals together, praying for one another, looking for opportunities to share the Gospel, and overall creating an environment where they feel comfortable to take steps and grow in their faith. We have trip leaders and guest speakers from other skate ministries throughout the country pour into the skaters and encourage them that their other people in the skate community that are actively following Jesus. At the end of the tour, we put together a full tour video to post on youtube to be a reminder for those who went on the tour and to reach and inspire others.
